Building A Portfolio

 For the Portfolio aspect of my project i wanted to get started early by looking into what images i should compile into the work, taking into account what aspects make photos “Portfolio-worthy” before deciding on the final images. For this i considered the growth of my own photographic skill and how certain older photos no longer are true representations of the images and abilities i now have and am able to display so I must use images with a large variety but still are at least similar in style and current ability. I must also take into consideration the quality when it comes to these photos as a lot of them are old film scans that have gone from device to device that have experienced a large quantity of degradation so may not look good when boosted to a large size. The images i would like to include would be the current project im working on with images reflecting my own childhood and family, as well as various medium format images i have made as of late, I would also include some recent projects works and also some band photography i have done in the past. One of my concerns and difficulties i would have and am currently having is what images should be selected over others as while not all images are my best, some show more technical ability than others.
